A commission starts with three inputs: who the table is for, what place or memory matters, and what ingredients the group actually wants to eat.

We sketch with ingredients first, not illustration software. Curves become pepper strips, rooftops become roasted tomato, and green punctuation often comes from basil or artichoke.

The last constraint is heat. A design only counts if it survives the oven and still eats like a very good pizza.
